Poverty and discrimination, a sad reality in India: Sonia Gandhi

On her visit to Tumkur, ahead of the 2013 polls, Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi today said that many people in India were still subjected to discrimination and depravity. Addressing a rally, organized on the occasion of the Tumkur Mutt Swami's 105th birthday, Sonia said that education was the greatest tool to combat poverty.
