Pranab informs about committee formed to curb price rise

Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee informed about a high level committee formed to check price rise of food grains, cut profiteering and revamp state-run subsidized retail chain. Agreeing that the imbalance between demand and supply is one of the reasons for soaring prices, Mukherjee said he expected the prices would come down shortly.
