Pranab, the undeclared Prez

Even as counting of the Presidential elections 2012 is underway in the Parliament, it seems that UPA's Presidential candidate, Pranab Mukherjee has already become the undeclared President of India. Congress sounds confident of Pranab's victory in the presidential polls ahead of the results expected by 4 pm today. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Congress leader Ashk Ali Tak said that the result was a foregone conclusion and that the nation had confidence in Mukherjee. Rajasthan chief minister, Ashok Gehlot congratulated Pranab ahead of the official declaration. Meanwhile, a relaxed Pranab who has a clear edge over BJP-backed PA Sangma is eagerly awaiting the results.
