Late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan's younger brother Pravin has been found guilty in the Mahajan murder case after 20 months of twists and turns. A sessions court in Mumbai pronounced the verdict on December 17. But what had seemed like an open-and-shut case turned on its head and became an uphill task for the prosecution because of glaring loopholes in the way the case was built. On April 22, 2006, the senior BJP leader was shot in his Mumbai apartment in cold blood.
