Indian President's estate, running into scores of acres in the heart of the national capital New Delhi, has completed one year as an eco-friendly township, under the project Roshni that was launched after a presidential directive on July 25, 2008. The main objective of the project was to make the Rashtrapati Bhawan a model urban township that cares for the environment.
