Salman Khan to be tried for culpable homicide

New Delhi, June 24 (ANI): The Mumbai Sessions Court on Monday rejected Bollywood actor Salman Khan's review petition in the 2002 hit-and-run case in which one person was killed and four were injured. Rejecting Khan's plea, the court has given the actor a month's time to appear before it. The actor had challenged the magistrate court's order that said there is enough proof to charge the actor with culpable homicide not amounting to murder. Salman will now be tried for culpable homicide not amounting to murder. This means that he will now be tried under Section 304, part 2 of IPC.
