Security mars tourists' full moon view of Taj

A scheme to open viewing of the Taj Mahal in full moon night fails to take off as overzealous security measures and steep tickets keep away the tourists. In November 2004 India's apex court set aside a ban to enable moonlight viewing of the 17th-century symbol of love. Though night viewing was allowed for a few days in 2000, but stopped again over concerns about preserving the site.
