Shashi Tharoor takes part in PM Modi's cleanliness drive

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor took part in PM Modi's cleanliness drive called the Swachh Bharat Campaign, in Trivandrum. Tharoor was removed as spokesperson of the party after he had backed Modi's clean India campaign. However, later on he said that he supported iconic freedom fighter, Mahatma Gandhi's vision of clean India in national interest. He said that the municipal corporation have failed and not been able to deal with the garbage problem in the country. He added that he was extremely happy to accept the invitation and also that Prime Minister raising this and making such a big issue of it.
