Shutdown in Jammu

Authorities on Thursday imposed an indefinite curfew in Jammu to control violence that erupted following a youth's suicide in the city. Protesters stone pelted policemen and even dragged one into captivity, but released him later. Kuldip Kumar reportedly committed suicide while protesting against the remarks of National Conference chief, Omar Abdullah during the trust vote debate on Tuesday.
