Six Maoists arrested in Chhattisgarh

During a search patrol operation, personnel of BSF and the state police arrested half a dozen Maoists in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh on Friday. Incidentally, all the nabbed suspected Maoists are in their late teens or early twenties. Meanwhile, arrested rebels said that they were forced to join the Maoist movement. The Maoists say they are crusading against the prevailing political system, upholding the cause of the poor and marginal farmers and landless labourers.
