Sunanda Pushkar was murdered: Delhi Police chief Bassi

Nearly a year after Sunanda Pushkar, wife of former Union minister Shashi Tharoor, was found dead in a Delhi hotel, Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi says her death was unnatural and she was murdered. Bassi said, "Medical report says she was poisoned, oral or injected we do not know, it is being investigated." The Police chief also added that a case of murder against unknown persons will be registered soon. Pushkar was found dead in her hotel room number 345 of the Leela Palace in New Delhi's Chanakyapuri. Her body was found by her husband Shashi Tharoor.
