Temple of pure gold and precious stones

The very mention of golden temple may prompt one to think of the Golden Temple of Amritsar. However, there is also another golden temple, which is as attractive as the one in Amritsar and this is at Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh and is dedicated to the Jain faith. Hence it is known as the Jain Golden Temple of Gwalior. This temple, built in the year 1761, is a good example of beautiful architecture and interiors.
