Watch: PM Modi interacts with students on eve of Teachers' Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday interacted with students on the eve of Teachers' Day. "We pay tributes to (late president) Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and mark his birthday as Teachers' Day," Modi said at a programme held at Manekshaw centre in Delhi. Modi said: "...you have seen (late former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. He always wanted to be remembered as a teacher," he said. During an interaction with the students, the Prime Minister asked students to be clear on why they wanted to be leaders. Responding to a query on how the implementation of Digital India would take place without electricity, Modi said that in the coming years, the government has taken up the effort to supply power to 18,000 villages across India.
