Villagers belonging to the Muslim and tribal communities have decided to boycott the upcoming assembly polls in Nagarkata area under Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal. The villagers complain of government apathy and lack of basic amenities in the area. Irate villagers told media persons that they condemn the elections and would not cast their votes during the polls slated next month. The annoyed villagers also took out a protest rally on Sunday and shouted slogans against the state government.
