World renowned for his exceptional recital of melodious Carnatic tunes by way of whistling, Hyderabad-based whistle wizard K Siva Prasad dreams to popularise the distinctive art. Prasad has been enthralling audiences by presenting famous Carnatic tunes not by singing or playing them on instruments but by whistling. He has more than a thousand concerts to his credit all over the globe, including a performance at the Festival of India in the then Soviet Union in 1987-88.
