Iran Fumes At Israel Over Top Hamas Leader’s Killing, Calls For ‘Immediate, Effective Response’

Iran has strongly condemned the assassination of Hamas deputy chief Saleh Al-Arouri in Lebanon. Tehran warned Israel that the killing of Arouri will only bolster Hamas – the ruling Palestinian militant group in Gaza. The Iranian Foreign Ministry also called on the United Nations Security Council for an “immediate and effective” response to the attack.
