Hezbollah has released new footage claiming to show an Ababil drone striking an Israeli Merkava tank in southern Lebanon, days after rejecting a U.S.-backed ceasefire proposal. The group said the attack took place near Zawtar al-Sharqiya and showcased its ability to target Israeli armor along the border. The video emerged as tensions soared over an Israeli strike that killed Lebanese soldiers near Nabatieh. While the I.D.F. said the targeted vehicle acted suspiciously in an active combat zone, Hezbollah and the Lebanese Army condemned the attack, deepening the crisis around stalled ceasefire efforts.
