Iskander-type missiles for Belarus? Ally reveals Putin’s 'plan' amid Ukraine war

Amid Vladimir Putin's stepped up offensive in Ukraine, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that Moscow had agreed to help Minsk produce missiles, including one similar to Russia's Iskander. State-run Belta news agency reported Russian ally Belarus' President saying that events in Ukraine had demonstrated the importance of having troops with modern, highly effective weapons and supplies, stressing also the importance of logistics. The Belta report further quoted Lukashenko as saying that Putin had told Dmitry Rogozin, the head of Russia's space agency Roscosmos, to give Belarus the relevant support.
