‘Kashi has blessed me,’ PM Modi after filing his nomination from Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed media after filing his nomination from Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency. He urged people to go out and vote in the remaining phases of 2019 LoK Sabha elections. PM Modi also expressed his gratitude towards the people of Kashi. He said, “The people of Kashi have blessed me again after 5 years.” PM Modi won the seat with a thumping majority and a massive margin in 2014 bagging more than half the votes polled, 56 per cent, with a massive margin of 3.37 lakh votes over Aam Aadmi Party's Arvind Kejriwal. Varanasi will vote in the 7th and final phase of polling on May 19.
