New India-Middle East Corridor Gets West's Backing; Ambitious Counter To China's 'Coercive' BRI

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and United States President Joe Biden are set to unveil an “ambitious and ground-breaking” infrastructure project on the sidelines of the G20 summit. The infrastructure project, a railway and shipping corridor, will link India with UAE, Saudi Arabia and possibly Europe, fuelling speculations of it being a counter to China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
