Chief Justice of India NV Ramana listed the problems faced by the judiciary in India. Apart from shortage of administrative staff and vacancies in judicial posts, CJI Ramana said that infrastructure is a huge hurdle. He cited lack of toilets for women lawyers in lower level courts. He also bemoaned the low strength of women judges in the system. The Chief Justice said that he is preparing a report which will soon be submitted to the Law Minister so action can be taken on these fronts. He also suggested that a new corporation for judicial infrastructure can be set up to take care of these issues. Watch the full video for more.
