External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Sunday began his three-day visit to France. Jaishankar is in Paris to cement bilateral defence cooperation as well as discuss the security environment in the Indo-Pacific. During his visit, Jaishankar will hold a bilateral meeting with his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian. He is expected to meet the minister for French armed forces Florence Parly. The External Affairs Minister will also call on the French president Emmanuel Macron. He will attend the EU Ministerial Forum for Cooperation in the Indo-Pacific amid Chinese assertiveness in the region. Watch the full video for more.
