A CBI court has sentenced RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav to 5 years in prison in the 5th fodder scam case known as the Doranda treasury case. The court has also slapped a fine of ₹60 Lakh on the RJD chief. The Doranda treasury case is the biggest case that involves the illegal withdrawal of ₹139.5 crore. The fodder scam took place in the 1990s when Lalu Prasad was the Chief Minister of Bihar. Currently, Lalu is out on bail and is unwell. Watch this video to know more.
