Lankan MP ‘punched’ in public, faces protesters wrath amid raging anti-govt stir

Sri Lankan MP Rajitha Senaratne was attacked by protesters when he joined the Anti-govt protest. In the viral video, Senaratne was seen being punched from all sides by angry protesters. This came on a day when sea of demonstrators stormed into the Presidential residence, tearing down security cordons placed by police, taking a dip in the swimming pool and romping through his kitchen.
