Indian Coast Guard commissioned the indigenous ALH Mark III aircraft at Gujarat's Porbandar port. It was inducted in the Coast Guard on June 20 at its air station in Chennai. The aircraft is built for target neutralisation using the cabin 12.7 mm heavy machine gun. The induction boosts the Coast Guard's maritime surveillance and recon capabilities.
