Modi govt keeps close watch as Imran readies for Russia visit; First in 23 years

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is going on a visit to Russia on Feb 23-24. It will be the first visit by any Pakistani premier to Moscow in over 3 decades. Discussion is expected to be on bilateral ties, Defence cooperation, Afghanistan among other things. Pakistan is projecting the visit as 'historic' amid the thaw in U.S-Pakistan ties.
