Bihar CM Nitish Kumar was physically assaulted by a ‘mentally unstable’ person on the outskirts of Patna. The person, identified as Shankar Kumar Verma, came within striking distance, dodging the security cordon. In the footage, the attacker can be seen striking a blow from behind before being caught by security personnel. At the end of the video, the CM can be seen directing the security men to restrain themselves. Sources said that the attacker has been arrested and is currently in police custody. Police said that an Initial investigation has revealed the person is mentally disturbed. Watch the full video for more.
