Pegasus row reignites: NYT reports Modi govt bought spyware in 2017; Rahul Gandh

Among the potential targets included Rahul Gandhi, Prashant Kishor and ex-Election Commission Ashok Lavasa and nearly 40 journalists. In October, the Supreme Court appointed a panel to probe the allegations of snooping. Meanwhile, Congress has hit out at the Modi government, accusing it of treason.
