PM Modi speaks to UK premier Boris Johnson; Ukraine war, trade ties discussed

PM Modi & United Kingdom PM Boris Johnson discussed the situation in Ukraine over a phone call. During the telephonic conversation, PM Modi reiterated India’s stand of dialogue & diplomacy to end conflict. The PM office in a statement said that India emphasized on its belief in respect for international law. PM Modi also emphasized on maintaining territorial integrity of all states. The PM also appealed for a cessation of hostilities and a return to dialogue table. Downing Street in its statement said that both leaders agreed that Ukraine's integrity must be respected.
