Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi targeted PM Modi over her detention in Uttar Pradesh. Priyanka said she had been kept in detention for over 24 hours without any order or FIR. The Congress general secretary demanded the arrest of the accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri incident. In a video, Priyanka addressed PM Modi and showed a clip of protesters being driven over by a car. Calling Priyanka a 'true Congressi', Rahul Gandhi said that his sister is ‘not afraid’. Priyanka was taken into custody on Monday morning while on her way to Lakhimpur Kheri to visit kin of those killed during Sunday’s violence in the district. Eight, including four farmers, were killed during clashes following a protest against farm laws.
