'Problematic': Nitin Gadkari trolled for 6 air bags ad featuring Akshay Kumar

Controversy erupts over a road safety campaign featuring Akshay Kumar. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari faces flak after sharing an ad on Twitter amid the government's attempt to promote six airbags in cars. In the video, a father can be seen crying at the bride's farewell. Akshay Kumar, starring as a cop, taunts the father for sending the newly married couple in a car that has just two airbags. Many alleged that the advertisement was promoting the practice of dowry. Calling it 'problematic', Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi wondered 'who passed such an ad that's promoting evil & criminal acts of dowry'. TMC leader Saket Gokhale said it is 'disgusting to see the government officially promoting dowry'. Not just leaders but many users too slammed alleged promotion of dowry.
