Raj Thackeray, Pushkar Dhami reignites UCC debate | Explained

The debate over Uniform Civil Code has been reignited by MNS Chief and Uttarakhand Chief Minister. Addressing a rally in Pune, Raj Thackeray urged PM Modi to bring 'one nation, one law' at the earliest. This as the new-elected Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami promised the implementation of the law in 'Devbhoomi' soon. UCC was also BJP's poll promise in Uttarakhand.
