Prime Minister Modi replied to the debate on the motion of thanks to the President’s address in the Rajya Sabha. PM Modi lashed out at the opposition parties who have alleged that democracy is under threat in India. ‘People who cast aspersions on democracy and question the power of India, I would like to request them to understand that our democracy is not a western institution at any cost, it is a human institution,’ he said.
