Pragya Thakur said hijab should be worn when people feel unsafe at homes and not outside, where there is 'Hindu Samaj’. Amid the hijab row, she said headscarves will not be tolerated if they are worn in educational institutions. “No need to wear hijab anywhere in Hindu Samaj. People who are not safe in their houses need to wear hijab,” she said. The Lok Sabha member from Bhopal also said that Hindus worship women and don't see them in evil manner. "Hijab is a purdah. Purdah should be (used) against those who see you with evil eyes. But it is certain that Hindus don't see them with evil eyes as they worship women," she added. Watch the full video for more.
