Paper artist creates popup book on endangered species

Artist Keerthana Ramesh has put together a 30-page popup book featuring critically endangered species from around the world. She made the book in May last year, as part of the One Million One Month challenge, where artists are invited to depict one animal a day, for 30 days, from a list of 30. The online art challenge gets its name from a 2019 UN report that stated that over a million species are now at risk of extinction, as a result of human activity. Among the 30 species in Keerthana’s book are extremely rare species of plants and animals. Take a look.
