Paraguay Welcomes Japan’s Crown Prince Fumihito, Princess Kiko on 90th Anniversary Tour

Paraguayan President Santiago Peña welcomed Japan’s Crown Prince Fumihito and Crown Princess Kiko of Akishino during their official visit to Paraguay marking 90 years of Japanese immigration to the South American nation. The imperial couple arrived in Asunción for an eight-day tour, with the visit also marking Crown Prince Fumihito’s return to Paraguay two decades after his first trip in 2006.
