Police prevented student leader Devendra Nath Mahato and other student leaders from participating in a Tiranga Yatra in Ranchi. Mahato was reportedly stopped by police along with other student leaders during the planned Independence Day procession. Following the incident, Mahato was admitted to Sadar Hospital in Ranchi. The development comes amid Independence Day celebrations across Jharkhand and the rest of the country.
