Badminton Championships: Saina Nehwal beats Russian Anastasia

India's badminton player Saina Nehwal beat Russian Anastasia Prokopenko to reach the third round of the World Badminton Championships, being played in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Sixth seed Nehwal had to overcome some resistance in the second game before defeating unseeded Prokopenko 21-10 21-17. Nehwal added she was looking forward to Thursday's match against Bulgarian Petya Nedelcheva.
