Chairman of the national selection committee, Dilip Vengsarkar, has decided to attend a meeting in Bangalore on December 5 to pick up the Indian squad for the the Test series in Australia. In another development, former South Africa opener Gary Kirsten on December 4 signed a two-year contract to coach the Indian Team. Kirsten, who has won 101 Test caps, expressed great joy on being selected as Team India coach.
