Before the first match of the New Year, Indian team seems to have been hit with a brand new blow. Zaheer Khan, who had said earlier that he would work extra hard on his bowling is not playing the 2nd Test match due to an ankle injury. Though Zaheer's injury has been a huge spirit dampener, the only good news is that Sourav Ganguly has recovered from fever and is playing the 2nd Test. The hosts have retained their team, which played the inaugural Test while India made one change and replaced injured Zaheer with Ishant Sharma.
