Sachin to lead India in the 3-day warm-up match

With Captain Rahul Dravid being nursed for a calf injury, master blaster Sachin Tendulkar was on Thursday handed the responsibility of leading the Indian team as it goes into the three-day warm-up match against England Lions. Apart from Dravid, veteran spinner Anil Kumble, opener Gautam Gambhir and paceman Rudra Pratap Singh have also been left out from the 12 shortlisted for the match. The grueling Test series will begin at the Lord's from July 19.
