Sania moves up in rankings

Sania Mirza has moved up six places in the women's world rankings list to the 38th spot despite her second round exit from Wimbledon, according to a Women's Tennis Association (WTA) release on Monday, July 9, 2007. Sania also jumped two notches to improve her doubles rankings to 38. At Wimbledon, the Indian and her Israeli partner Shahar Peer had reached the third round.
