The Pakistan Cricket Board on Thursday appointed all rounder Shoaib Malik as the new cricket captain following the resignation of Inzamam-ul-Haq in the wake of the side's early World Cup exit. The Board decided to overlook Mohammad Yousuf and Shahid Afridi's claims to the throne and appointed the 25-year-old Malik. The newly named captain Shoaib Malik said he would deliver his best.
