The United States has withdrawn all B-1 bombers from RAF Fairford in Britain, a week after five men were arrested over a suspected plot targeting the base, according to Reuters. The Pentagon confirmed that the dozen B-1 bombers deployed to Fairford had returned to their home stations in the United States. British officials have indicated possible Iranian involvement in the suspected plot, while Tehran has denied the allegations. Separately, IRGC commander Ali Fadavi claimed U.S. naval forces had moved more than 1,000 kilometres away from Iran and said no American warships remained near Iranian waters. That naval claim has not been independently confirmed.
