U.S Special Representative for Afghanistan Thomas West has flagged concerns about increasing attacks by banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Pakistan. The U.S diplomat has termed the situation 'challenging' for Islamabad. The warning on TTP-led violence was given amid a sharp rise in attacks in recent months that has set alarm bells ringing in both Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Pakistan media reports say the terror outfit's presence has grown in in the northwest part of the country, following Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan last year.
