Israel has reportedly told United States that it will take more than a few months to defeat Hamas in Gaza strip - an admission that the Palestinian militant group has not been decimated and that the Israeli forces and government are nowhere near the victory in Gaza. Separately, eight Israeli soldiers were seriously injured a major Hamas attack in Gaza, military has said.
