10 Israeli soldiers were injured in the last 24 hours in fighting with Hamas in Gaza, whereas two others were wounded in separate incidents, Haaretz reported. 25 seriously injured Israeli soldiers are currently taking treatment. Israel has suffered over 220 fatal and over 1000 non-fatal casualties in Gaza since it began its ground operation. The Israeli military is now preparing for a ground invasion of Rafah – the only city in Gaza which hasn’t seen widespread destruction and shelters over 1 million Palestinians.
