Robert De Niro, Diane Warren react to Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation

He's often one of Hollywood most politically outspoken celebrities. But not Saturday night when actor Robert De Niro was whisked away from reporters after doing only a handful of interviews at the Carousel of Hope Ball. A fundraiser for the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, the annual event supports both the Center's care facilities, as well as the Children's Diabetes Foundation's efforts to find a cure for those with Type 1 diabetes. De Niro was the night's honoree, for his longtime support of the Center and Foundation.
