Malala, who was shot by Pak Taliban, gets married; Priyanka Chopra congratulates

Activist and Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai announced her marriage on social media. Yousafzai got married on Tuesday in a small ceremony in United Kingdom’s Birmingham. The 24-year-old posted the pictures of her nikah ceremony on her Twitter handle. Yousafzai’s Twitter feed was flooded with expressions of goodwill for their marriage. She wrote: ‘Today marks a precious day in my life. Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life’. Canadian PM Justin Trudeau wished the couple a ‘lifetime of happiness together’. Actor Priyanka Chopra also shared a story on Instagram and congratulated Yousafzai. Watch the full video for more.
