Poland’s Big Dare To Putin, Says Not Averse To Shooting Down Russian Missiles Over Ukrainian Skies

Polish President Andrzej Duda said on September 5 that NATO forces would 'consider' shooting down Russian missiles. Duda said, "If we were watching Russian missiles or drones over Ukrainian territory, which could also potentially pose its danger to the territory of the North Atlantic Alliance countries, then it could be considered." Meanwhile, NATO on September 2 cautioned its members against shooting down Russian missiles, saying it could affect the organisation ‘as a whole.’
